100 photos

these are my 100 photo's for the photo part of our 100 brief. Photos were categorized in many different ways, using the five hat rack system and using which category worked best. Mine were catogrised (bottom photo) alphabetically from the content of the photo. A couple of my favorite photos are at the top along with class mates photo's.

a book i made and mapping of shape/form in the studio.

this was a book i made at Bradford collage about three years ago, we just had to design a book as a personal project i choose to make up some characters and use them as the books theme.
the cover and pages made me think about how a book can be designed.
i was given the word circle and documented all the circles in the studio. i also created a shot of the studio so you can pick out where these circles live.

start to 'what is a book'

upside down reading?...... these are a few of my favorite books i have acquired. Im first going to look at the books that i enjoy to look at and read to answer the question "what is a book" these are the first of a few i shall upload.

Visible Signs
David Crow

Street Sketch Book
Tristan Manco

I also remember doing a similar brief for my art foundation at Branford where we had to design a book using unconventional methods. I remember designing a book which took form in a a3 folder and consisted of pages of t-shirts! I will try find this and upload some pictures!
